This hollow form was cut from the same blank as the other submission except that this one was turned side grain to show the visual difference. Right off the gauge, no negative rake scrapper used, as I did on the previous hollow form. This piece is about 8 inches in diameter by about 4 inches high, wall thickness is about 3/16 inch. Both of these hollow forms will be colorized after they are dried and finished, to blond and uninteresting otherwise.
