This is my take on a Japanese, pagoda themed honey pot as a joint challenge with Alison’s honey dipper. It has a Japanese symbol which represents honey, pyrographed into opposite sides. The wood is Ash and has been coloured and finished using Intrinsic colours and Hampshire Sheen gloss wax. Gold embellishing wax has been used on the lid. The honey dipper was styled to match the lid of the pot continuing the Japanese theme. It was turned and finished by Alison.
