Textured by nature

Horse Chestnut burr is not suitable for texturing tools it basically falls apart, but this textured rim was done by nature, I just applied a blow torch to colour it up.
The Celtic knot work was done by laser with a bit of Hampshire Sheen gold embellishing wax, this normally is better on a dark background but I didn’t want to colour this piece.
I used the Woodcut coring system on this Burr so this is the third bowl I have cut from this piece of wood and the smallest I will cut, 4th Core sent to Brian for possible inclusion in a resin piece.
